Bi-Rite Creamery. San Francisco

This is the yummiest ice cream store on earth. It opened in the Spring of 2007, in the Mission District. It is just up the street from Bi-Rite Market and Tartine's, and Delfina's. Can you imagine a better food street to live 'just-around-the-corner' from?
This is made from a single business card. i am particularly proud of the fold-down benches below the windows, which are just like on the real building. Although this is not an 'exact' replica of the building, it does resemble it - in actuality, the roof line is not an integral sign...but it could be/ought to be.

what beautiful structures and what beautiful stories.
as an architect and a recent mom (my daughter is almost 5 months), i appreciate the craft of both the tiny buildings and big memories that infuse them.
while james was the inspiration for your newfound craft, i think you've taken the tiny buildings to a new level. they are quite poetic, especially the way that you use the graphics/text from the cards to express the architecture.
your granddaughter will have a wonderful keepsake collection. you should print out each blog posting that relates to her buildings for her to refer to later in life.
thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
